WIP Wednesday - Clans of Kalquor 12: Alien Outcast

Nako had on no occasion suffered any trouble when it came to focusing on a military objective, especially with the level of danger he faced at that moment. Yet though he stood on the bridge, his raider approaching the well-guarded com beacon, the unexpected fuck with Piper kept creeping into his consciousness. Again and again, his brain drifted from the peril of numerous destroyers patrolling the space on the main vid. He heard Piper’s excited cries ringing in his ears, watched her exultant expression as orgasm took her. He felt Piper’s arms and legs wrapped around him, and better yet, her hot, tight sleeves clutching his cocks, pulling gorgeous rapture from the depths of his loins.
He could smell her on him. It hadn’t made any difference that they’d showered in the lavatory connected to her quarters. It had probably been a mistake to plow her again as soap and water ran over their bodies, but she’d been so damned incredible…and ardent with willingness. He’d not been able to score that first-place finish after all.
Just means I have to ask for another practice session.
An eager throb from his crotch warned Nako he’d let ardor interfere with running his ship again. Biting back a curse, he glanced around to see if anyone noticed he’d blanked out for several seconds. Terig’s narrowed gaze informed him that his Nobek was alert to his wandering mind…not to mention his clanmate probably scented him from his nearby subcommander’s podium. Maybe he could tell Nako had been with Piper. He’d have sworn her sweet scent clung to him.
Nako tried not to smirk. Terig had the most experience with women among the clan and was not above bragging about it, but he’d never had an Earther.
It’s past due that I had boasting rights over him as far as sexual adventures, Nako thought, then frowned. No, being with Matara Piper had been special. He had no wish to make it petty by crowing about it, not even to his Nobek. In fact, he didn’t wish to discuss it at all. He planned to keep it close, to guard those astounding moments jealously so they couldn’t be diminished.
She’s amazing, and I want more of her.

Releasing July 3 (No pre-orders).

She escaped to Kalquor to warn the empire…but did she bring its destruction instead?

When a rogue Kalquorian raider snags a Bi’isil cruiser in Empire space, the outlaw crew is hoping for supplies. Instead, they find a Tragoom and an Earther woman with a dire warning: Bi’is is set to unleash a fatal plague on the Kalquorian Empire.

Piper Warren, with the help of her friend Ob, has faced death to save the Kalquorians from utter destruction. Instead of help, she stumbles on a ship filled with men who swear no loyalty to anyone but themselves. Can she convince them to set aside their lawless ways to save their people?

Captain Nako turned his back on Kalquor after Fleet Command decommissioned his raider. Abandoned by his government, he swears he will never lift a finger to aid them, not even against the traitor Dramok Maf and his fleet. With the new Bi’is threat, if Nako doesn’t do something, the empire will fall and its people will die.

Nako’s Nobek clanmate Terig is as fierce as they come. However, his shameful past destroyed a once-promising career, and leading his men into battle can only end in defeat.  But how can he refuse when utter annihilation is racing straight to Kalquor?

Dual breed Imdiko Ulof is a terror to anyone who crosses him. Leaving broken bodies in his wake, the ex-convict struggles with equally broken dreams. No one can tame him, until a beautiful Earther and an unlikely new friend show that belief has the power to heal all wounds.

The survival of Kalquor depends on this unlikely band of misfits. Clan Nako learns that love for an Earther woman can make heroes out of outcasts…until they discover that Piper harbors dark, deadly secrets of her own.
