Q: Have you ever thought to highlight a creative clan (musicians and artists)? It would be interesting to see a creative Nobek.

A: It might be interesting, but it has to fit within the needs of the story. We've been enmeshed in the Basma's revolt for a few books, which has been more the province of politicians and military types. If a book came up in which an artistic spin naturally added to the story, I'd be willing to write it.
