Coming March 27 - Clans of Kalquor 9: Alien Indiscretions

We are getting close to the latest installment of the Clans of Kalquor series. I thought I'd share a note or two with you about this book.

First of all, there is a huge background story in addition to the love story. In fact, I think this setting has about equal billing with the affair between Clan Diltan and Cissy Salter. This comes as the Kalquorian Empire faces a major upheaval. I know you're used to the love story being front and center in these books, and it is still the main focus...but be aware, there is a lot of 'other' going on beyond the relationship.

Because of this, the love story portion has a slower arc than you're used to from me. The relationship builds over time rather than an immediate, in-your-face "We gotta clan this chick now" vibe. Once the fireworks start though, it is not vanilla by any means. The men are just as we love them: commanding and yet caring.

There is the usual prologue at the start, which explains the Clans of Kalquor universe to the newer readers. After that is a short prelude, setting up the events that are to come later in the book. Then with Chapter 1, Cissy and her twin Tasha land on Kalquor and the real fun begins.
