Tracy St. John Blogs On And On And On...
Welcome to my blog where I yap about my writing, my life, sex, sin and so on. Sunday's Serving, WIP Wednesday, Weekend Wake Up Call, random musings on Saturday...yep, just try to get me to shut up. Not gonna happen.
Just a quick question. Sheila mentions that Kalqourians live longer then humans, I'm curious to know if once a Matara is clanned are their lives medically extended?
ReplyDeleteJust can't seem to get the question out of my head..
; )
You'd have to go all the way back to Alien Rule to see the quick mention that Kalquor's medical expertise should extend Earther life to about 150 years (vs. Kalquorian average lifespans of 250). Of course the Empire's medical research establishment is working to prolong Earther lives even more since they want their Mataras around as long as possible.
DeleteI always saw this as a pet project of Flencik and Prince Egilka's since there is no longer funding for fixing Kalquorian female fertility. However, since the subject has had no bearing on any of the subsequent books, it's never come up.
I thought I had read that somewhere...i pick up on things like that, especially if I'm really into a series. : )
ReplyDeleteSometimes I think I need a scorecard to keep up with the Kalquorian universe. It gets confusing. Oh, and Egilka just very coolly reminded me he is an emperor now, not a prince. Touchy, touchy. ;)
