It gets confusing. Oh, and Egilka just very coolly reminded me he is an emperor now, not a prince. Touchy, touchy. ;)Tracy St. Johnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08330547341441742342noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3535214726884453778.post-35361255583860486452013-01-18T07:08:30.021-05:002013-01-18T07:08:30.021-05:00I thought I had read that somewhere...i pick up on...I thought I had read that somewhere...i pick up on things like that, especially if I'm really into a series. : )Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3535214726884453778.post-47151895211725288192013-01-17T17:32:57.138-05:002013-01-17T17:32:57.138-05:00You'd have to go all the way back to Alien Rul...You'd have to go all the way back to Alien Rule to see the quick mention that Kalquor's medical expertise should extend Earther life to about 150 years (vs. Kalquorian average lifespans of 250). Of course the Empire's medical research establishment is working to prolong Earther lives even more since they want their Mataras around as long as possible.

I always saw this as a pet project of Flencik and Prince Egilka's since there is no longer funding for fixing Kalquorian female fertility. However, since the subject has had no bearing on any of the subsequent books, it's never come up.Tracy St. Johnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08330547341441742342noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3535214726884453778.post-51619778946886540162013-01-17T12:29:43.801-05:002013-01-17T12:29:43.801-05:00Just a quick question. Sheila mentions that Kalqourians live longer then humans, I'm curious to know if once a Matara is clanned are their lives medically extended?

Just can't seem to get the question out of my head..
; )Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
