Create a Couple of Kalquorians - Their Greatest Accomplishments

In this next to the last poll, we need to determine Erybet and Sletran’s greatest accomplishments.  You will remember Conyod’s was being selected to join the Matara psychological team over 200 other applicants. 

In our prior poll, we looked at the lifechanging childhood event that made our dynamic duo the men they are.  For Erybet, it was being mistakenly categorized as a Nobek when he was a child.  This led to a brutal year in a training camp, which is probably why he’s held his own so well in the predominantly Nobek military.  Sletran’s big moment was breaking his leg in a remote wilderness area and surviving for a week with the busted limb.  I put his age at eleven when this happened.

Every person has some childhood event that shapes them for the rest of their life.  Whether it's the loss of a loved one, divorce, illness, or some other game changer, we've all experienced something that colored our world from then on.  It’s time to decide what those events were for Erybet and Sletran.  You’ll remember Conyod’s event was the disappearance of a sibling who was never found.  

Our last poll chose hobbies for our Dramok and Nobek.  Erybet is a talented artist whose work spurs Conyod to display his artwork.  Sletran volunteers to train young Imdikos the art of self-defense.

It's time to give these boys something to fill their spare time with.  You will remember Conyod raises champion kestarsh (the Kalquorian version of a horse).  What do you think Erybet and Sletran enjoy doing?

Our last polls were about the men's dominant pre-war positive personality traits.  Erybet was very take charge and not afraid to make the big decisions.  Sletran’s bravery and fairness was an inspiration to his subordinates; so much so that they obeyed his orders without thinking twice.  Thanks for participating.

Create a Couple of Kalquorians - They've Got Personality

We need to determine the dominant parts of Dramok Erybet and Nobek Sletran's personalities.  What is it about them that we love the most?  As trauma they suffered during the war might have affected these traits, you are voting on pre-war personalities. 

These characteristics will offset their less positive quirks, which is what we focused on in the last poll.  You determined Erybet's greatest weakness was his tendency to do everything himself rather than delegate responsibility.  Sletran's greatest imperfection is his tendency to think of everyone else as weak and therefore needing his protection.  I think we can forgive our big guys these shortfalls, don't you?

Create a Couple of Kalquorians - Nobody's Perfect

As we did with Conyod, we need to figure out Erybet and Sletran's imperfections.  If you will remember, Conyod is a little on the OCD side, unable to function without a To Do list.  What quirks do his clanmates have that makes each other crazy?

Last week's poll:  We put faces on our Dramok and Nobek.  You decided Erybet was clean shaven with the finer features of a ‘Pretty Boy’ similar to the looks of Orlando Bloom or Matt Damon.  Yum.

Nobek Sletran is utterly hunkalicious with the Uber-Man look of Jason Momoa or Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, also clean-shaven.  I'll take a dozen of both Kalquorians, please.

Create a Couple of Kalquorians – The Look

It’s time to put faces on Dramok Erybet and Nobek Sletran.   First select your favorite look for each, then choose facial hair, if you’d like any.  Just to remind you, Imdiko Conyod has a rugged face, something along the lines of Hugh Jackman.  Are you going for rugged again, or will our other two clanmates sport a different look?

Results from last week’s poll:  we’ve got hot bods!  Two tall men, over 6'7".  Thank you.  I love 'em tall.  For Erybet, you chose a body that is long with lean musculature, and his best features are his shoulders and arms.  And Sletran’s looking plenty tasty too with a well-proportioned chiseled frame that isn't too bulky with his best features being his chest and abs.  Yum, yum, gimme some!

This week's polls are about the always delightful Kalquorian physique.  You made Conyod average height with well-defined but not bulky muscles.  His best feature was his chest and abs.  So what are the favorite features for your dream Dramok and Nobek?

Results from last week's polls:  We were talking hair, hair you can dig your fingers in and grab handfuls of while these big men visit naughty delights upon you.  For our chopped-locks Nobek, you went with straight hair.  For Erybet you chose to give him straight, midback length hair, worn loose. 

Create a Kalquorian - The Final Word on Conyod and We're On to Erybet and Sletran

You have spoken.  The overwhelming majority of you have said you want a say in the rest of Conyod's clan. 

These polls will be going faster than before, as I am already outlining Alien Redemption and need my characters ready to jump in.  We will create our Dramok and Nobek simultaneously, so there will be two different polls each week.  Some options will be the same as the ones we had for Conyod, especially where physical characteristics are concerned.

A little background on our clan is in order here.  Dramok Erybet, chief commander of five companies of ground attack forces, along with his Nobek Sletran, who was in direct command of one of those companies, went off to fight the war against Earth.  Conyod stayed behind on Kalquor.  They kept in regular contact for the most part, but near war's end, Conyod lost all communications with his clanmates.  He didn't even know where they were located.  After the war ended, he finally heard from them just days before they came home.

There has been little to celebrate since their return.  Both are on administrative leave, though they assure Conyod it isn't for any wrongdoing.  They were invovlved in heavy fighting and it has been determined by Erybet's direct supervisor that they are due a year's respite.  Erybet and Sletran are changed men.  Erybet has lost a lot of the confidence that made him a leader men could count on.   Sletran disappears for hours at a time, usually in the middle of the night while his clanmates are sleeping.  He is now prone to sudden fits of rage in which he destroys his belongings.  He has even turned this inexplicable anger upon himself, hacking off his long hair with a knife.  Despite Conyod's pleas to know what happened to them so he can help Sletran, his clanmates will only tell him they are sworn to secrecy in the interest of the empire's security.

Our first polls have to do with our two Kalquorians' hair.  Obviously with Sletran, we won't be worrying about the length and style, as his impromptu cutting means his is now growing out.   You only have to worry about the texture of his.
