When Children Help You Write

As I picked up the notes I'd begun making for the second Clan Beginnings story, I discovered my six year old had added onto them. This could be serious trouble for Kalquor.

  1. Going back through old blog posts looking for your old tutorials and saw this. Wouldn't it be a hoot to see some angry birds showing up somewhere in that book. :)

    1. I've never been one to pass up an inspiration...

Gelan nodded. “I went to Sarkoz last year and caught the third biggest ongribirt on record. They found someone’s leg in the thing’s gut and the rest of him in its nest. It turned out it had grabbed a villager the night before.”

  2. that's great. someday you can tell your kid that (s)he contributed to the book. Fun.
My grown daughter and I are collaborating on a novel and your Tutorial Tuesday entries will be a big help. Thanks.

    1. Good luck with your writing! I bet you're having fun working with your daughter.

I eventually plan to give the old tutorials their own page to make it easier to locate. I just haven't had the time to do so yet.
