WIP Wednesday - Clans of Europa: Tina (NSFW)

That first encounter...

Maybe they didn’t wish to force her to Kalquor. Could it be some authority had ordered them to? She patted their shoulders to make them feel better. She knew all about being told to do things she wasn’t happy with.

“It’s okay. You didn’t mean to scare me. I’ll be fine.”

Tukui winced. “Poor Matara. I’m sorry it’s come to this.”

He cupped her jaw. She sank into the gorgeous purple of his eyes. What a pretty shade they were, with cool, blue undertones. The slitted pupils, so bizarre at first, no longer bothered her.

She was still considering his eyes when he kissed her. Then all thought fled.

She’d never been kissed before that she knew of. Her mother had died giving birth to her, so she’d not known that embrace. Her father, harsh and disapproving, hadn’t kissed her either. She’d been sent to Europa before she’d had the opportunity to date.

She’d had no idea lips against hers could be so astounding. Tukui’s were soft, growing firmer as they moved. Then something warm and wet—he was licking her. Tasting her lips. Startled, she gasped, and his tongue rubbed against its twin.

Fireworks lit within. The odd, tumbling sensation in her stomach intensified, and her sex clenched hard. An impression of melting joined the upheaval.

Tukui’s body was hard against hers, demanding surrender. She softened, going pliant as he devoured her. She operated on an instinct that demanded she acquiesce to his exciting demands. Obeying unfamiliar urges, she tasted him in turn, clutching at his uniform in an effort to meld their bodies together.

A scent rose between them, something that reminded her of cinnamon. Sweetish, with a spicy kick. She had no idea what it could be, and dismissed it under Tukui’s delicious assault.

She whimpered when it ended, but Yorso was there to take up where his clanmate had left off. Once again, she submerged in a maelstrom of heady impressions. Her heart thundered, and she shook all over. Her skin radiated heat. And down where she’d never been touched by anyone else, she ached. A violent craving demanded to be satisfied, but what could it be?

“Beautiful, wonderful woman. We’ll do all in our power to make you happy,” Tukui breathed in her ear.

On the heels of that, something brushed against her breast, right over her nipple. Galvanizing shock that traveled straight to her sex made her cry out in Yorso’s mouth. Someone gripped the mound, his thumb rubbing over the stiff peak, shattering her.

The next few seconds were a confusion of tugging, of air striking her skin, of calloused hands exploring bared skin, of wet mouths licking and sucking what had been covered moments before. The notion she needed more overcame what should have been the terrifying realization she was naked and lying on her bed. It had been pulled from the wall, and the Kalquorians surrounded her, fondling her with growing excitement.

 Releasing in December.

WIP Wednesday - Clans of Europa: Tina

Meet your new clanmates:

Maybe if I get them to like me, they’ll keep treating me well. Sugar and spice and everything nice.

It was easy to slip into pleasing mode. The instinct fit like an old, comfortable shoe. “You understand I’m not important to this place, right? I’m only an aspirant. Not even that for much longer.” Rejected despite an eagerness to satisfy those with the power to choose her fate. Making others happy had worked no better on Europa than in Tina's father’s household.

“I think you’re important. A young, beautiful woman, well-liked by those in charge. I’ve seen your records.”

“Why’d you look at those, uh, Emeego?” She stumbled over the part of his name she remembered.

He chuckled. “This floor is hard. I’m sure if I knelt on your rug it would be better, but maybe you won’t mind me sitting on your bed?” He did so and gazed up at her with that disarming friendliness. “Imdiko is my breed. Translated into your language, it means caregiver. My name is Yorso.”

“I’m sorry.”

“No problem. As for why I read your convent records, it was necessary for us to learn about those who live here. Sit with me.” He patted the mattress.

She would have preferred to remain standing. Sitting on the bed with a man could get her in trouble.

We don’t have to lie with them to be judged unclean. Mary, angrily speaking in her head again.

“Tina, it’s okay.” The sweet face took on a note of sadness.

Survival was all about keeping those who had control over her life happy. Apparently, these three Kalquorians were the authority to bow to for the moment.

She went to the end of the cot, as far from him as she could, before sinking down on the edge. She glanced at the other two. Big and Scary was still big and scary, his expression as unreadable as before. She had little hope of impressing him. The other Kalquorian remained on his knee, as friendly as before, but watchful.

His smile never faltered, but he somehow managed to appear gloomier. “Am I that frightening?”

“Not as much as him.” She darted a glance at the Kalquorian with the biggest muscles, hoping she hadn’t made a mistake by noting how fearful she found him.

His startled expression was a revelation. As was the flush of embarrassment. The handsome brute possessed feelings after all.

The others chuckled, though Yorso narrowed his eyes at their companion. “Osopa’s not as bad as you think. He’s ticklish behind the knees.”

The big man’s mouth opened and shut. He scowled at Yorso, for an instant turning ferocious. The next moment, a reluctant smile flitted, turning him only slightly scary and remarkably attractive. The kneeling alien laughed outright at him.

Releasing in December.

WIP Wednesday - Clans of Europa: Tina

Our leading lady has a question.

Abruptly, she was set on her feet and released. She staggered a step forward, and a hand steadied her when her legs threatened to give out. She stared to see where they’d brought her.

It was a sleeping cell. Her sleeping cell. The colorful rag rug on the floor, the soaps and candles on the shelves—all things she’d made from leftover bits and pieces others saw as trash. Her private space, with its bed, hard mattress, her white aspirant dress and veil hung on the wall pegs. The place she’d called home for the last five years. The place she was to be unceremoniously evicted from within a week.

She whirled to confront her attackers. In the tiny cell, they appeared larger than ever, huge Goliaths whose heads nearly brushed the ceiling. She emitted a shriek and backed as far from them as possible—an entire foot.

One still held her arm, the Kalquorian who’d entered the dining hall in a merry mood. He knelt before her, his rich voice soothing. “Tina, please let us talk to you. We mean you no harm.”

Despite the gentle expression he wore—such a handsome man, and no horns as she’d seen on the propaganda vids—Tina’s panicked thoughts grew more chaotic. Should she talk to them? Would it be treason since she had no government secrets to confess? What would Sister Katherine do? More importantly, what would Sister Bernadette do?

She had no compass to guide her. Not when she was alone in her sleeping cell with three men.

“We’re tainted in the eyes of the Church and the Holy Father whether we’re violated or not.” Mary’s bitter, wretched voice spoke in her thoughts. “We’re as good as executed for lewdness.”

Was that what was about to happen? Was she about to become a sex slave, as the Holy Father had insisted?

“Matara—Tina—please. Speak to me.” He beseeched, as if only her acknowledgment could offer him comfort. A scene straight out of a movie, the misunderstood hero trying to make the leading lady see he was good beneath the bad-guy façade. All that was missing was the background soundtrack.

This isn’t a movie, stupid. There’s no script here, no happy ending. Wake up!

She could hardly believe it when actual words spilled from her lips. Scripted lines, spoken a hundred times before. “Why are you doing this? Why are you attacking us?”
