December 2012 Update

All the latest and greatest:

Clans of Kalquor Book 6:  Alien Redemption:  The reader reviews have been phenomenal, and the book is sitting in the erotica bestseller lists.  Thank you to everyone who was so kind to take the time and leave their comments or a ‘like’ on the various sites.  After sweating over this one for so long, I am utterly thrilled you enjoyed it.  

Clan Beginnings:  To Clan and Conquer:  We are about three weeks away from the release of the first of this new series.  I am finally done formatting and am now gearing up all the promoting and marketing to give you a Clan Tranis Christmas.

Clans of Kalquor Book 7:  Alien Refuge:  I am a third of the way through the first draft and it’s looking like another long book at 55,000 words so far.  It will take some doing, but I’m trying really hard to get this one out by the spring.

Clan Beginnings:  Clan and Conviction:  I am deep in outlining Clan Gelan’s start.  The hardest thing to write will be when Krijero discovers Pertak left him for another Imdiko.  Ouch.  I am not looking forward to suffering with him on that.  Late spring/early summer release, maybe.

(Working title) Sister Kathryn’s Story:  Remember all those nuns and aspirants who were captured by Tranis’ crew in Alien Conquest?  Did you ever wonder what happened to them?  One reader did, and her interest sparked yet another Kalquor series.  I have just begun outlining the first of those stories in which we go back to the events of the Europan convent’s capture.  To refresh your memories, Sister Kathryn was the gentle nun Cassidy looked up to.  She was mentioned a couple of times in Alien Conquest, and now she’s getting a book of her own.

To Protect and Service:  Ravenous Virtue:  I am now into the first draft of this one with Park Service ranger Raven Virtue trying to figure out the enigma that is the exotic Douglas Bringer.  She’s in for a surprise, not the least of which is discovering Douglas isn’t even human...

Shalia’s Diary:  Mom disappears and Shalia finally is forced to face Dramok Dusa and a bunch of other Kalquorians.  A little side note here:  several of you assumed that Dusa and the other two Kalquorians Shalia saw on the street were clanned to each other.  They were not.  This was a search-and-rescue party headed up by Dusa, not including any clanmates.  SPECIAL NOTE:  The next two entries are very short, so I will post the first one Monday, as usual, and the second one on Thursday. 

And there you have it!  On a side note, I have not heard from my co-author for The Phucket List in some time.  I have to assume this project is dead in the water, which is a shame.  This was going to be a very good story and I’m sad it looks like it will not happen.

Update - August 2, 2012

The latest on my upcoming books:

Netherworld III:  Once Bitten Twice Dead is out in about a week (August 11).  Get ready for the shocking events that completely change Brandilynn’s afterlife forever!  All of next week's usual blogs will be replaced by excerpts of this new release.   It will be available for Kindle, Nook, and at Smashwords.  Also coming in paperback.

Alien Redemption (Clans of Kalquor 6):  Halfway through the first draft!  The suspense just keeps on building as the killer closes in on Rachel Hicks and the terrible secrets of Erybet’s clan bring danger ever closer.  Still too early to tell when it will be done.  The story length is going epic, but I remain hopeful for an autumn release.

Clan Beginnings 1:  To Clan and Conquer:  About two-thirds of the way through the outline.  Having so much fun seeing where Tranis, Lidon, and Degorsk are taking this story as they try to come together (pun not intended, you dirty minded sillies!). 

The Phucket List:  Still working on the first draft.  Laughing at a lot of crazy escapades heroine Valarie Knight gets involved in, and how her hapless lovers Frank, Kent, and Scott deal with the mayhem.

The latest on my upcoming books:

The Font is up and for sale!  This vampire novella is now available as an ebook from Kindle, Nook, and Smashwords.  You can also get a print copy from CreateSpace and Amazon.

Netherworld III:  Once Bitten Twice Dead is now up to its third draft.  Don't you love the cover?  Erin Dameron-Hill has done it again!  This is Brandilynn’s biggest adventure, one in which she finally chooses her one-and-only sweetheart and faces an enemy that will change her afterlife forever.  Trust me, you will not see the big shock that’s coming.  I’m aiming for release no later than August.

Alien Redemption (Clans of Kalquor 6):  A little past a quarter of the first draft is done.  The clan is full of secrets, and their would-be Matara Rachel doesn’t know if they’re her saving grace or destruction.  I’m trying for a fall 2012 release, but this story is a beast that keeps growing.  It’s at over 70,000 words already – to give you a comparison, Alien Embrace in its entirety was slightly over 75,000 words.

Clan Beginnings 1 (still untitled):  Almost halfway through the outline of Tranis, Degorsk, and Lidon’s prequel to Alien Conquest.  Look for it in the new year.

The Phucket List:  Still working on the first draft.

The latest on my books:

Alien Interludes:  Clans of Kalquor Short Stories is doing terrific.  Thanks for supporting my foray into self-publishing, all!  You can get it on Kindle, Nook, Smashwords, and now Kobo.  And I did break down and release it in print for you tree book lovers (the cover is slightly different from the ebook due to formatting constraints).  Pick it up from Amazon.

Netherworld II:  Blood Potion No. 9 is scheduled for release on June 8 from New Concepts Publishing. 

The Font has been proofread and now possesses a gorgeous cover, thanks to Erin Dameron-Hill.  Look for it on Kindle, Nook, and Smashwords June 29.

Netherworld III:  Once Bitten Twice Dead now has a completed first draft.  You know what that means?  It means I can now start writhing the first draft of:

Alien Redemption (Clans of Kalquor 6):  The clan you created via polls on this blog is about to commence on their adventure. 

The Phucket List:  After a delay, this story is back on track.  My co-writer Megan Zeise and I are working hard on this fun-filled romp.

And here’s a little something for you to think about.  One of my readers suggested I write some prequels to the Clans of Kalquor books.  In these stories we would see how the men of the clans got together.  I am totally up for a run of prequels; a Clans of Kalquor Beginnings series.  Obviously, we are talking about mostly M/M/M sexual situations (which personally, I love).  I’m curious to know what the rest of you think, so I will post a poll starting tomorrow asking if you would or would not read this series.  Thanks in advance for participating.

Thursday Update - What’s Up and What’s Coming

So here’s the latest and greatest on what’s happening in Tracyland:

Alien Salvation:  Clans of Kalquor 4 is now available from New Concepts Publishing, Fictionwise, Amazon for Kindle, and Barnes & Noble for Nook.

Netherworld:  Drop Dead Sexy:  The first of this series is up at New Concepts Publishing, coming to other distributors around the beginning of March.

Alien Slave:  Clans of Kalquor 5 is tentatively scheduled for release from New Concepts Publishing  February 17.

Netherworld II:  Blood Potion No. 9:  Finished and under consideration by my publisher.

Alien Interludes:  I have just finished the first drafts of this collection of short stories and novellas.  It includes eight new stories about the clans we already love, plus one introducing the heroine of the upcoming Alien Redemption.

The Font:  This first draft is on the verge of completion.

Netherworld III:  Once Bitten, Twice Dead:  Outline completed, starting first draft soon. 

Alien Redemption:  Clans of Kalquor 6 – we’re almost finished creating Imdiko Conyod.  If everyone wishes to help with creating the rest of the clan, new polls will be appearing every week (instead of every two).  More details to follow soon.

The Phucket List:  Personal problems have cropped up for my co-writer, keeping this one on the back burner for now.  Rest assured it will be worth the wait.

Television pilot:  You won’t catch the name ‘Tracy St. John’ on the credits since the industry refuses to take erotic writers seriously.  Having me attached to this project could do it more harm than good.  But I did have a hand in it and if it goes into production I will get my share of the pie, so here’s the scoop.  A television producer friend of mine created a comedy series pilot about a young woman, her two female roommates, and her offbeat family.  Our intent was to make it sexy, quirky, and fun.  The whole pilot has been shot, and it’s in editing now.  To gain support, it will be posted in parts on YouTube in the future.  I will keep you updated as this project moves along.
